ST. MAARTEN GOLF ASSOCIATION

Over the weekend 39 motivated golfers split up in 13 teams and headed out to Mullet Bay Golf Course to compete in the three-man scramble.
 

Following a short briefing just before 8am on the rules specific to this tournament, the teams started at the hole assigned

to them to tee off simultaneously following the single burst from a mist horn.
 

At the end of the morning when the dust settled and the carts had returned to the Golf Pro Shop one and all enjoyed themselves by feasting on beverages and snacks as the winners were announced.

First prize was won by the team comprised of Chris Gibbons, Marie Gibbons and Guido Polko with a net score of 62. The runners up who missed winning the tournament by one stroke, were the team of Arnaud Dionnet, Fred Boureau and J.B. Lugger with a score of 63 net. Third place was close as well with a net score of 64 from the team of Maxwell Thomas, Tony Burns and Thomas Zorn.
