ST. MAARTEN GOLF ASSOCIATION

The St. Maarten Golf Association (SMGA) was established in 1990 to promote the playing of golf on St. Maarten and to bring together the many golfing enthusiasts who call St. Maarten home.  The association is a non-profit, membership based entity which presently consists of 110 avid golfers residing on St. Maarten; both full and part time residents of all ages and nationalities.

 

Its mission; to promote the playing of golf on St. Maarten, to organise tournaments and create a sense of camaraderie amongst players whilst at the same time donating to charitable causes to benefit the St. Maarten community.

 

The St. Maarten Golf Association's board is elected annually at the AGM in November.  It is the Board's responsibility to plan and organise tournaments, solicit donations and prizes and arrange special events so as to promote the sport for the benefit and enjoyment of its members and the community.
